I am a new Ham Radio operator ft32r bought a dual band radio. It came with a USB dongle to install a driver and to use with software to download frequencies into my radio. I plugged the dongle in and it said it had installed and sub ready. I am using Chirp software. When I opened the software, chose my radio and hit to download, it came up with an "error has occurred, could not open port, Error 3".

I originally could not find any COMM ports. I went into Action, scan Legacy Hardware and it added COMM 3, no iart ports ft232r usb uart driver for windows 10 seen and it did not change, still has the triangle, error Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.
